Alberto is originally from Madrid, where he opened an office for his interior design business. He is a self-taught artist who recently relocated to Tampa. By 2007 or thereabouts, Alberto’s artwork has made its way into the mainstream of modern American art. The market’s appreciation of this artist’s work during the past six years has led to his increased visibility in the United States. Greens, oranges, yellows, and blues are swathed and poured across the panel in a color-blocking effect reminiscent of the abstract expressionism that informs Alberto’s work.
