LITA VAN ENGELENHOVEN
Artist Statement:
“There is no movement in my work. It is a frozen second in time. I paint the silent things that surround me, as well as from my fantasy. My paintings look so easy, but nevertheless, it feels as if my life depends on it. When I have finished a painting, it seems as if it has existed forever.”
